THE ROSE SOCIETY

The rose society is about this young girl called Adelina. She has a power that she can create illusions. She has a sister called Voiletta who has the power of beauty and she can take people's powers away for a short time. People with powers are called Elites.

The book is written in a weird way because different chapters are from different people's perspectives. When I read it for the first time it was weird because I didn't understand it. Now I've got part way through, it's making a lot more sense. It makes me think I need to read the first book in the series though.

This has made me think of Harry Potter knock off, Fantastic Beasts. You know the movie?

MMM Mairehau merrylicious market

Hello i'm Breana from Mairehau High school,we held a market on the 29 November. My Friend Caleb and I did tie dye as our product for the market. We did about 5-8 Socks and we sold all of them, We also had abut 7-8 t-shirts and sold most of them. We had made our own labels and we tie dyed the t-shirts by ourselves with no help from teachers. The prices we had came up with are $5 per pair of socks or 2 pairs for $8 and $10 per t-shirt or 2 t-shirts for $17. We had a lot of competition but we managed

My paragraph about Cyberbullying.

The one main idea about cyber bullying is online bullying.
You have to be on some type of social media to cyberbully,some types of social media are Instagram,Snapchat,Facebook. People choose to be rude to act cool,
 Eg: commenting hateful messages on other peoples photos.
Some people hate others or are going through something and is taking it out on the other person making them feel bad. Sometimes blackmail is brought up..blackmail is a type of way to get someone to do something Eg: somebody will have an embarrassing story/photo of them and they have to do something to make them not post/tell anyone.

My favourite part of adulting 101 was cooking with ms swan in the cooking room.
We were given a box of ingredients to look at, We then looked on the internet to find a recipe to re-create. My partner and i decided to do spaghetti bolognese because we thought it was a quick and easy meal to make. Sadly my partner wasn't there to cook so I asked someone who didn't have a partner to be my partner and we created a dish that tasted good.

I found learning to find a recipe easy because there are so many.
next time i would like to try.. cooking with someone different because i felt my partner was a little to controlling.

The thing that worked well was.. working next to other people so we could help each other and give pointers.

 This was not my dish but it is quite similar.
